Lorena Trejo, Senior Associate 202.652.4197 Lorena Trejo, currently an Associate of the firm, joined Public Properties in 2009. Ms. Trejo’s current responsibilities include lease acquisition services for the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA). Prior to joining Public Properties LLC, Lorena’s primary responsibilities were coordinating development projects as well as preparing lease proposals and reports at Brookfield Properties. Ms. Trejo started her career in commercial real estate at Carr Properties where she negotiated with vendors and managed procurement strategies. Lorena is a member of Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW), The Mayflower Foundation, and The DC Preservation League. Currently, Lorena is pursuing LEED certification. An avid runner, Lorena participates in DC Road Runners as well as many local races and events – supporting various causes and giving back to the community. Ms. Trejo attended The W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business in 2006.
