Edward G. Brennan II, Director 202.654.7021 Ed Brennan currently serves as Director for Public Properties LLC and has over 17 years of local, national and international commercial real estate expertise. Mr. Brennan’s experience includes both tenant and landlord representation with experience in office, retail and warehouse/flex space properties. Areas of expertise include, lease acquisition and disposition, tenant lease extensions, tenant lease audits and financial analysis and building sales. Since joining Public Properties LLC in August of 2004, Mr. Brennan has been actively involved both locally and nationally in numerous land acquisition and lease transaction assignments on behalf of the federal government. Mr. Brennan’s current responsibilities include national lease acquisitions services for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) as well as representing local third party property owners with federal government leasing assignments. Prior to representing Public Properties LLC, Mr. Brennan worked for Equis Corporation where he served from 1995 through 2002 as the Vice President of the Washington, DC office. Mr. Brennan managed a team of three (3) real estate professionals whose sole focus was tenant representation. Mr. Brennan’s team represented both Equis’ corporate partners as well as various independent clients. Notable clients included; RR Donnelly, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, WorldSpace, National Hospice Organization, BioNetrix Corporation, Roy F. Weston, Inc. Paragren Technologies, Aether Systems, Inc, New South Communications, National Association of State Credit Union Supervisiors and XM Satellite Radio Inc. Prior to 1995, Mr. Brennan was employed by the Charles E. Smith Companies (CES) from 1991 until 1995. While at CES, Mr. Brennan held the position of Senior Account Manager and was responsible for developing the companies outside brokerage division. Mr. Brennan’s notable clients included; Riggs National Bank, Naval Lodge Building Incorporated, the Embassy of Honduras, the Republican National Convention, the Washington Post, Fidia Pharmaceutical, Westwood Management, the Washington Times, Lee Hecht Harrison and Linowes & Blocker. Mr. Brennan received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1984.
